Building with friends is meh; on the other hand, building with your best friends is the best thing you can do. When you remove that transactional aspect from the relationship, i.e., expecting things in return, you reach that level of confidence and transparency. This helps so much because you are going to have different opinions and conflicts, and the best and only way to resolve them is to talk like adults. I don't make any compromises with my best friends; I simply trust them because when you compromise, you start keeping a tally of them, and I don't want to fill my peanut-sized brain with such useless information.

I have been participating in hackathons, receiving grants, and working professionally since 2021, but now it's 2024, so after 3 years of observing from the sidelines and learning, I am ready to take it up a notch and double down on what I believe and love.

We are building @degenhouse (opens in a new tab) and letting our inner degens out. We'll be launching something cool very soon in a private beta, HMU (opens in a new tab) for the access. I won't bore you with a story about how we started this, but I can definitely tell y'all this shit's hard — how tf we came from shipping stuff after an all-nighter to figuring out legalities.

Also we'll soon be hiring for roles across engineering, design (graphics and product) and growth; my dms (opens in a new tab) are always open or shoot me an email if you are interested in kicking some ass.
